The BUZZ Card is Black Hills State University’s official identification campus card and is available to all enrolled students and current faculty and staff. Tap your iPhone, Apple Watch, Samsung Galaxy and other eligible Android phones at readers across campus to conveniently access your university credentials.
The BUZZ Card can be used to access the student computer labs and printers, to make copies, and to make purchases at the bookstore and vending machines.
Present/swipe your card when making a purchase and the amount will be immediately deducted from your account, just like when using a debit card or checking account.
Yes, you will need to install the updated version of the Transact eAccounts mobile app.
On your device, visit the App Store or Google Play Store and search Transact eAccounts. The store will prompt you to install any required updates.
Confirm your device is not in Airplane Mode or experiencing any other service interruption. Updates cannot be made when there is no connecting service to sync data between Transact eAccounts and your device. The Transact eAccounts app will display the most current information.
Students taking classes from the other universities at BHSU-RC can also obtain a BUZZ Card.
Students can obtain BUZZ Cards in the administrative offices at BHSU-RC.
Money can be added to the BUZZ Cards at the PHIL station located near the vending machines in the rotunda or with a credit/debit card in the My Buzz Card Portal.
