Black Hills State University - Rapid City is proud to announce two scholarship opportunities for our students: The John T. Vucurevich Foundation Scholarship and the Rapid City Campus Book Scholarship. Students need to reapply for these scholarships each semester.
**IMPORTANT: By completing this application, it DOES NOT guarantee you will receive the scholarship. The Scholarship Committee will review your application and decide if you are eligible to receive funding.
**STUDENT CREDIT LOAD FOR QUALIFICATION WILL BE DETERMINED ON THE DEADLINE DATE. CHANGES MADE AFTER SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE WILL NOT QUALIFY FOR ADDITIONAL SCHOLARSHIP MONIES. RECIPIENTS CREDIT LOAD WILL BE ASSESSED ON CENSUS DAY OF EACH SEMESTER.
John T. Vucurevich Foundation Scholarship
The John T. Vucurevich Foundation provides scholarships to undergraduate students attending classes at the Rapid City Campus, regardless of home institution, are eligible to apply for the Vucurevich scholarship. Students can receive up to $2500 per semester.
Requirements for eligibility:
*This scholarship is designated to those who are NOT eligible for 'traditional' first-year scholarships.
*You need to be taking at least half of all your credits face-to-face in Rapid City.
*Students must be registered for Fall 2022 at the time of application review.
The Fall 2022 application deadline is February 1, 2022, at 11:59 pm Mountain Time. Recipients will be notified by February 15, 2022, of the committee’s decision.
