Free and Confidential Business Advising

The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO) provides business counseling assistance to entrepreneurs, small business owners, managers, and individuals who are considering starting a business. Our counseling services are tailored to the specific need of the individual or business and cover specific areas including start-up assistance, business plan development, management, marketing, and financing.

Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm
Evenings & weekends are available upon request.

Black Hills State University, in partnership with Ed2go, offers online open enrollment programs designed to provide the skills necessary to acquire professional level positions for many in-demand occupations.

Our programs are designed by a team of professionals from each respective field, providing you with effective web-based learning programs. Instructors/mentors are actively involved in your online learning experience, responding to any questions or concerns, as well as encouraging and motivating you to succeed.

SCORE is an SBA resource that helps entrepreneurs start, grow, or successfully exit a business. Their volunteers provide free, expert mentoring, online resources and templates, and education opportunities that are available through their website. SD CEO Learning Library (Live and On-Demand)

SD Trade

South Dakota Trade helps link South Dakota businesses with global prospects. As a non-profit association, we promote partnerships between foreign buyers or investors and South Dakota companies in key industries like agriculture, bioscience, manufacturing and more.
