I'm the chief financial officer and I also oversee operations. The operations piece is overseeing all of our branches and monitoring all of our tellers, and then as far as the CFO position, I actually am responsible for the financial risk of the credit union. My MBA was something that I always wanted to attain and it's been a benefit to me as far as my career. It was attainable, but it was also something that I knew that would help get me prepared for a position like this. Living here in Rapid City, it was convenient. I think the whole class schedule has basically helped me with everything that I needed in order to get this position. I'm still friends with a lot of the other students that were in the MBA program. Collaborating with other students was probably, you know, some of the fun memories. Camaraderie, working together on projects, different classes that I had- we had one instructor who was just hilarious. He started out each class with a joke. My fellow classmates nominated me for Outstanding Graduate Student, and then the Beta Gamma Sigma is a business-related association. It's kind of like an honor society for business students. It was quite an honor to be able to be selected for that. The whole experience was wonderful.

Dorothy is a critical employee of the credit union. She has been a true asset to me and to our organization. The skills that she learned in the graduate program at Black Hills State has proved invaluable to our organization. Dorothy's overall leadership is a very important piece of everything that we're doing here at Sentinel.
