FACE MASKS REQUIRED IN PUBLIC INDOOR SPACES ON CAMPUS. UPDATES
If you are pursuing an internship for credit, you will work with your school on the necessary paperwork and requirements.
You are responsible for working with both your internship coordinator and employer on any requirements. You can find internship opportunities through Handshake.
Click the button above for our resume guide and examples to get you started. You can also take a look at our Achievement Statement Guide and Action Verb List for additional assistance with getting your resume ready.
Once you have a draft of your resume, schedule an appointment with Career Development through Handshake to ensure your resume is polished and ready to send to employers.
We have transitioned to Handshake, a modern recruiting platform, which will help you manage all your campuses at no cost, post jobs/internships, view applications and more.
If you already have an account, login and connect with BHSU. If you do not have an account, you will need to create an account for yourself and your employer. For additional guidance go to Getting Started With Handshake: Employers.

We offer several opportunities for you to recruit students at BHSU. We offer a Part-Time Job Fair and an Accounting Fair in the fall. We also offer a Teacher Fair and our all majors Jacket Job Fair in the spring.
Registration for our job fairs is managed through Handshake. Our 2021 Teacher Fair and Jacket Job Fair will both be hosted virtually via Handshake.
Please connect with the Career Development Center if you are interested in setting up an on campus or virtual recruiting event for BHSU students.
Notice: Due to COVID, opportunities to host on campus events are currently limited.
