Black Hills State University Academic Affairs announced its 2025-26 faculty awards during the university’s annual Welcome Week in August.
"The Faculty Awards provide an important opportunity to recognize the extraordinary work our faculty do every day in teaching, mentoring, research and creative activity, and service," said Dr. Pam Carriveau, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. "Much of this work happens behind the scenes and is motivated not by recognition, but by a deep commitment to our students, colleagues, and communities. These awards allow us to celebrate the talent, dedication, and impact of our faculty and to highlight the many ways they advance the mission of Black Hills State University."
