Psychology

The Psychology major at Black Hills State University has a strong tradition of preparing students who excel in graduate programs and in their careers. Students study human behavior and the psychological, social, and biological processes that relate to that behavior. With a degree in Psychology from BHSU, students are successful in graduate school and in pursuing careers as psychologists, social workers, career counselors, personnel and labor relations specialists, market researchers, and data analysts.

I love the small classroom sizes, which made it so much easier to connect with my professors and classmates. Attending BHSU has provided me with a solid education in my field, and the professors and faculty have truly helped grow my passion for psychology, human services, and sociology.
