About

The associate degree in Applied Health Sciences is the perfect fit for students working toward careers in healthcare, specifically registered nursing and dental hygiene. The West River Health Science Center coordinates transfer agreements for Applied Health Sciences students to continue their healthcare education after completing their pre-requisites at BHSU.

The entire program is available on campus at Spearfish, online, and at BHSU - Rapid City. Graduates with the two-year associate degree may also choose to continue at BHSU and complete a bachelor’s degree program in a field of their choice.
