Some types of the overseen sexual violence are stalking, dating violence, and verbal/sexual assault. All of this is unnecessary and disrespectful.
Cheyenne Palu, BHSU Volleyball
We need to stick up for each other, and watch out for each other. But not only just the 16 of us, but also BHSU as a campus and a community, because we are a family.
Fehrin Ward, BHSU Volleyball
Bystander intervention to me means stepping in when you see something that shouldn't be happening. It means standing up for other people who can't stand up for themselves.
Sydney Ederhoff, BHSU Volleyball
If I were in a situation where I thought someone else was in danger, I would immediately call 9-1-1 or get backup for myself because I want to be safe, too, and help them out of the situation. Join me in saying no more, not here, not anywhere.

Not Here, Not Anywhere is not just about awareness. It's about taking action.
Cole Peterson, SDSM Football
And if you see something, you know, it's important to at least tell somebody. And if you're not a confrontational person, you know, you can at least tell someone who will do something about it. And if you are, you know, then you can put yourself in the situation. And, you know, try to make a difference.
Bailey Rosenstrauch, BHSU Football
Sexual violence is more prevalent on college campuses than any other crimes.
Cole Miller, BHSU Football
Being an upstander against sexual violence is more than just being a bystander. It's taking action, preventing it firsthand, doing what you can do help another student out of a crisis.
Adrian Eastman, SDSM Football
I'm going to stand up, and get more people around me to stand up because the biggest thing is to come together as a group, because the power's in numbers. So, if you see a situation going out of control or going down a path that could lead to be out of control, just standing up right away as soon as you see it could put it to a stop.
Bailey Rosenstrauch, BHSU Football
As a football player and a student at BHSU, we can always be there to support people who have become victims of sexual violence.
Cole Peterson, SDSM Football
Know that there's always people there for you, even if you feel like they aren't.
