Spearfish is at the junction of US Highway 85 and Interstate 90 (I-90). Most visitors to our herbarium exit I-90 at exit 12. This exit is Jackson Boulevard in Spearfish. If one travels west on Jackson Boulevard for 1.2 miles it intersects with University Street. Black Hills State University is approximately two blocks north of this intersection.
Visitor parking is available on University Street near the Student Union as indicated by the yellow signs. Herbarium staff can arrange temporary parking permits for Herbarium visitors if provided with two working days' notice.
The Herbarium is located in room 155 (main floor) of Jonas Science (JS), on the southern edge of campus adjacent to the large parking lot.
