Favorite thing about BHSU: The community. Both here at BHSU and in the town of Spearfish. We may be a small South Dakota town, but Spearfish is a kind town that provides its residents and visitors with a sense of comfortability while providing ample opportunity for any and all to plant roots and grow. Black Hills State University is a reflection of this warm community experience. We at BHSU are a close-knit community that focuses on providing the attention and involvement of a smaller school while also providing students with a top-notch education administered by the wonderful faculty and staff. This is why Spearfish and BHSU are places where so many can do so much, where anything is possible.
