General Internship Information

Internships are hands-on work experiences that integrate the student’s classroom conceptual learning with practical employment. Throughout the internship, student's work experiences complement and reinforce the theoretical knowledge they've acquired from textbooks and lectures. The internship is designed to provide not only practical experience but also a detailed evaluation of the intern’s performance. The internship should be designed to provide a mutually beneficial experience to the student and employer and will impact, innovate, and engage both the student and employer.
