BHSU STAIRS COMMUNITY WORKOUT:

Some fun ideas to get your heart pumping and your muscles firing!

EASY:

Climb the number of steps needed to reach the top of Lookout Mountain: Approx. 8,079 steps/84.5 flights (3.6 miles)

There are 8 flights of stairs in Lyle Hare Stadium, so this equates to climbing and descending the stairs across the width of the stadium approximately 10.5 times – but you might as well make it 11. Call it extra credit!

MODERATE:

Walking or jogging the steps, complete 2 flights of steps (1 up, 1 down) and then complete 10 squats, 10 push-ups, 10 jumping jacks, and 10 sit-ups. Repeat until you get to the other end of the stadium. If you want a bigger challenge, repeat again going the other direction across the stadium until you return to your starting spot!
