As director of SD CEO East, Sadie provides business advising and resource guidance to aspiring and established entrepreneurs, offering innovative ways to think about their business by helping them discover new ideas and fresh ways of looking at current problems and roadblocks.

As the previous Community Outreach Manager with Downtown Sioux Falls, Inc., she’s worked with a variety of small businesses and knows the importance of each founder’s challenges or successes. She’s excited for the opportunity to extend her knowledge and enthusiasm to serve the entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs on their journey! It’s sets her soul on fire to empower and connect the vibrant business community across the state.

She enjoys attending local theatre, eating a delicious meal, volunteering at community events, singing karaoke, travelling to new places, and celebrating life with friends and family!

As the bilingual program coordinator of SD CEO East, Angie focuses on providing the events and programs that South Dakota business communities need most in English and Spanish. She also assists in business advising and resource guidance, especially for the Spanish speaking communities of eastern South Dakota.

With a Master’s in Spanish and as a proud Latina in South Dakota (her father is from Brookings, SD and her mother is from Honduras, C.A.), Angie has over a decade of experience in Spanish instruction at South Dakota State University bringing to SD CEO EAST years of education and advising.  As a former brick and mortar, small business owner, Angie, has extensive knowledge of this professional landscape and the triumphs and tribulations business owners experience. Having been involved in chamber and other community organizations, Angie knows that having resources and support are key in small business success.  She is humbled and honored to use her experiences, skills, and knowledge to assist fellow South Dakotans realize their business dreams!

Angie is passionate about living and supporting local. She and her husband (along with their three-legged dog, Desmond) love living in their downtown loft, are found at local restaurants and coffeeshops, community events, and enjoy looking for treasures in small businesses.  While Angie has strong South Dakota roots, she always has her suitcase and passport ready for new adventures.
