GLOBAL GATEWAY FOR TEACHERS
Through Indiana University’s School of Education, BHSU education majors are able to complete a portion of their student teaching abroad! The rigid structure of most teacher education programs makes it difficult to take part in a traditional study-abroad or off-campus internships. Thus the program provides students invaluable intercultural immersion experiences while also fulfilling their student teaching requirements. Global Gateways has several countries to choose from across the globe!
Students seeking to teach abroad should connect with Dr. Richard Carriveau from the College of Education at least one year prior to their term abroad.
