My Research Interests

Dr. Lamb's Fish Brain Lab

Research projects in my lab are designed to investigate the organization of gustatory systems in the brain, particularly in fish species which are specialized for taste sensitivity.  Some of these species include catfish, goldfish, zebrafish, goatfish, and various suckers. I have undergraduate students working on anatomy and behavior projects at BHSU, and I work collaboratively with scientists at the University of Utah and at Kagoshima University in Japan.
