I have three children - Nicole, Kelsey, and CJ. We like to enjoy the outdoors in the Black Hills, and traveling to 'exotic' lands. We have lived in Japan, where the kids attended public school and made many friends.

One of the reasons I have spent my academic career studying fish neurobiology is that I have been interested in fish - and in trying to catch them - my whole life. I enjoy just about any form of fishing, just about anywhere one can fish, but my preferred means is fly fishing.
