SD CEO Welcomes Ashley Wingert As Program Assistant

As SD CEO West completes their team and continues to assist women and entrepreneurs on their career journey

Spearfish, SD -- SD CEO West Women’s Business Center welcomes Ashley Wingert as the Program Assistant to provide administrative support to all SD CEO West activities and programs.  

SD CEO West Women’s Business Center is an organization that provides training, counseling, and technical assistance to aspiring women and entrepreneurs in the state of South Dakota. Ashley is a BHSU alumni and Spearfish resident bringing her organization management skillset to the team starting on July 10 this year. 

“Ashley’s diverse work experience brings a wealth of technical knowledge to help streamline processes and user experience," said Carissa Hauck, SD CEO West Director. “Her positivity and focus on helping others is a welcome addition to round out the team at SD CEO West.” 

While at Mountain Valley Vision, Ashley assisted in providing quality care to patients, processed billing and tracked data, and coordinated communication between insurance companies and patients. 

“The opportunity to work with the amazing women at SD CEO is a chance to help others in their career dreams while I also continue to grow professionally. I am thrilled to join this network and explore all aspects of the entrepreneurial and start-up communities,” said Wingert.  

Ashley is a Custer, SD native and relocated to Spearfish to received her bachelor's degree in chemistry from Black Hills State University in 2014. After interning with Black Hills and Badlands Tourism, she has been actively creating positive experiences for customers, helping train employees, and building processes to track data and improve efficiencies. Her insight from inside business walls will help the team identify the areas of opportunity for the workforce. Outside of the office you might find Ashley on the trails and losing herself in an enjoyable book next to her dog Ruu.  

Ashley Wingert will be instrumental in helping the SD CEO community find success in navigating our events, programs, and online resources. She’ll be the first welcoming face as you join the SD CEO West network.
