Research on college students tells us that students simply learn more when we judiciously balance direct instruction (lecturing; demonstrating) with independent learning activities. But only a small portion of US faculty have formal training in how to design learning activities.

Join this workshop to get a crash course of designing great in-class activities. Leave with a framework you can use to design activities for this semester and beyond.
