Ashley Pfeiffer is an Assistant Professor for the Exercise Science Department. She currently teaches The Exercise Science Major, Anatomy and Physiology, Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries, Theory of Strength and Conditioning, Biomechanics, Applied Human Performance and helps out with several labs in the program. She also is a Physical Therapist and has her own local mobile PT business that she does in her free time with her husband. Currently, Dr. Pfeiffer has been heavily involved with research through the National Institute of Health involving sleep and behaviors related to improving peoples’ health through effective sleep hygiene strategies. She absolutely loves teaching and connecting with all her students and loves to spend the time getting to know all her students. This year she will also be the university’s Faculty Athletic Representative and is looking forward to getting to know all the student athletes as she loves watching all the Yellow Jackets perform. In her free time she loves to play old lady volleyball, exercise, and spend time with her family of five. As a motto she lives by “work hard, be kind, have fun, be courageous.” Go Yellow Jackets!
