Professor Max Marc teaches information systems courses in the school of business. His teaching interests include advanced spreadsheet techniques, data analytics, personal productivity, navigating the technology ecosystem, and the social and business consequences of technology. His research interests are information privacy and machine learning. In the past he has published on information technology in government, and on the beneficial effects of playing video games. Programming languages he programs in are: Javascript, PHP, SQL, R, Python. On the non-computer side of things, he's been a student of basic Spanish and French language skills for a while, and looks forward to the day he can have a basic conversation in these languages without needing long pauses.
