Dr. Charles Lamb is a professor of biology and the Chief Research Officer at BHSU. He received his Ph.D. in Neurophysiology from Louisiana State University in 1991, studying the organization of sensory pathways in the brain. Prior to coming to BHSU, he was a Research Fellow at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, conducting neurobiological research and teaching gross anatomy and neurobiology. He also has conducted research in Japan at Kagoshima University School of Medicine. Dr. Lamb has been at BHSU since 1995, teaching a number of courses including anatomy, physiology, and neurobiology, and serving as the primary pre-health sciences student advisor. In addition to that, he has mentored a number of students in undergraduate research projects and served as the Natural Sciences department chair from 2005-2017 and the institutional Chief Research Officer from 2017 to the present.
