Dr. John Alsup is a Professor of Mathematics Education at Black Hills State University. He has a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from the University of Wyoming, an M.A. in Mathematics from the same university, a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and an M.A. and B.A. in Classical Languages from the University of Utah. He has been a professor and teacher for 42 years and is in his 22nd year teaching mathematics at Black Hills State University. He likes to travel internationally and keeps active by swimming, skiing, hiking, bicycling and walking his dog.
