Black Hills State University alumni, including former track & field and cross-country athletes, are invited to participate in the 32nd annual Alumni Mile weekend Jan. 17-18.
“This event allows our current student-athletes to connect with athletes from the past,” said Brian Medigovich, BHSU director of track & field and cross-country. “The support from Stadium Sports Grill helps make this event possible.”
On Friday, Jan. 17, the “warm-up” will take place with an evening social at Stadium Sports Grill.
On Saturday, Jan. 18, the “starting line” of the race is scheduled to begin at 3:15 p.m. in the field house at the Young Center. Runners should be “stretched” and ready to run at 3:15 p.m. This event is part of the Dave Little Invitational meet. The race time may vary.
Following the Alumni Mile and the university’s 4x400-meter relay races, there will be “finish line” activities with complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages in the Joy (Proctor) Krautschun Alumni/Foundation Welcome Center sponsored by Stadium Sports Grill.
