BHSU & SDPB TO HOST SCREENING OF NEW TERMES ART SERIES

Black Hills State University, in partnership with South Dakota Public Broadcasting (SDPB), is hosting a sneak peek screening of the new 12-episode art series, “How to Draw Using Perspectives with Dick Termes” Thursday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. in Jonas Academic Room 305 on the campus of BHSU.

The new series explores Termes’ geometry-based system of six-part art and is the second in an online video series produced by SDPB in partnership with Asio Studio of Rapid City. The video series, which covers one-point to six-point perspective, will include a comprehensive educational website with perspective grids, activities ideas, and lesson plans that could be integrated into the classroom or for use at home.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A along with a reception where coffee and cookies will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
