BHSU Theatre Department to perform “The Revolutionists”

The BHSU Theatre Departments’s spring production of “The Revolutionists” will take the stage March 29-31 at 7:30 p.m.

Performances will be held in the Woodburn Black Box Theatre. Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $13 for the public, $11 for seniors, and are free for BHSU students, faculty, and staff. The show deals with mature subject material that may not be suitable for young audiences.

Written by Lauren Gunderson, the play takes place during the French Revolution and follows four beautiful women who lose their heads in this irreverent, girl-powered comedy.

The performance will feature BHSU students Sarah Larcher as Olympe de Gourges, Gabriella Hertz as Charolette Corday, Rachel Larcher as Marie Antoinette, and Lanaya Young as Marianne Angelle.

Larcher said one of her favorite parts of the show is how she is able to explore and portray her character in different ways. “I love the character development in the show.” Larcher explained. “It's fun to see the characters interact with each other. You’ll have to come see for yourself.”
