COVID-19 Legal Update for Employers Webinar

Join us on Thursday, February 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. MT over Zoom, as Jennifer S. Frank Esq. with the Lynn, Jackson law firm, will discuss a variety of human resource issues and employment laws impacting business owners during these continuing and uncertain times of COVID-19.

Ask Yourself:

  • As an employer, should I require my employees to get the COVID-19 vaccination?  What if my employee refuses to comply?
  • What should I do if my employee contracts COVID-19 at my workplace or needs to care for a family member with COVID-19?
  • Does the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) still apply in 2021?  Should I be offering my employees some form of paid sick leave or emergency family medical leave?
  • What if I have to layoff, reduce hours or furlough an employee? Where does Reemployment Assistance come in?

Other topics to include:

  • Health and Safety Concerns in the Workplace – best practices
  • Remote Work/Teleworking Arrangements – here to stay???
  • Legal and other issues (workers’ compensation, performance management, keeping communication channels open, pay for work performed, etc.)

Registered attendees will have an opportunity to submit questions to Jennifer by Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 5:00 pm MT. While there is no guarantee that your question will be answered, Jennifer will try to get to as many as she can.
