Dr. Adam Bailey

Adam D. Bailey received his PhD in business administration with a specialization in management from Texas Tech University in 2009, and in that year began his career at Black Hills State. Professor Bailey teaches management and business ethics courses. His research focuses on philosophical issues that are relevant to addressing ethical challenges that confront managerial leaders. His articles have been accepted for publication in a variety scholarly journals including: Academy of Management Review, American Journal of Jurisprudence, Business Ethics Quarterly, Business and Society Review, Educational Theory, International Philosophical Quarterly, and Philosophia. Professor Bailey enjoys reading, writing, thinking, spending time with his wife and four children, serving in his church, cycling, hiking, summer vacations, sleeping, fresh air, and ice cream.
