BACHELOR OF FINE ARTS IN GRAPHIC DESIGN AT BHSU
Graphic Design at BHSU combines the worlds of Mass Communications and Art to take your talents to a new height. With a curriculum focused on the creation and manipulation of graphics, images, drawing, and photos, you'll speak to the world through your graphic design work.
This degree will give you the necessary graphic and computer design skills and the experience to prepare you for an exciting, cutting-edge career in advertising, publishing, or public relations.
The Graphic Design BFA at BHSU offers:
- Hands-on experience with the "Jacket Journal" student newspaper, where you can showcase your talents in desktop publishing, design, or writing.
- Opportunities to work in front of the camera, behind the microphone, or behind the scenes at the student-run television and radio stations.
- Internship opportunities throughout the Black Hills will sharpen your skills and introduce you to potential employers.
- Student organizations that enhance your classroom experiences with field trips, art shows and graphic design competitions.
