Opera: Amahl and the Night Visitors

Black Hills State University Music Department and Spearfish United Methodist Church present Amahl and the Night Visitors. Amahl is a short opera sung in English and is about the journey of the three kings to Bethlehem. It is a heart-warming story about an impoverished young boy and a miraculous visit. Amahl will be portrayed by twelve-year-old, Aidan O'Shea, who is from Spearfish. Directed by Nancy Roberts, this opera features BHSU faculty and students as well as other Spearfish community members. This event is free to the public, but a free will donation will be collected.

The online master’s in education at Black Hills State University was included on a list of the Best Online Programs for 2020 by U.S. News & World Report. BHSU offers an online master’s of education in reading. Four master’s of science degrees are also offered online through BHSU: strategic leadership, curriculum & instruction, secondary education, and sustainability.
