BHSU dean named president-elect of national business education organization

Dr. Priscilla Romkema, dean of the College of Business and Natural Sciences at Black Hills State University, was named president-elect of the National Business Education Association (NBEA) for the 2015-2016 year at the NBEA annual convention in Chicago recently.

Romkema's role as president-elect will begin on July 1 and will include working with the NBEA incoming president and executive team, the NBEA executive director, the NBEA board, and working with regional associations to strengthen and promote the benefits of business education.

The NBEA is the nation's leading professional association devoted exclusively to serving individuals and groups engaged in instruction, administration, research, and dissemination of information for and about business. The organization also gives business educators an opportunity to stay on top of the changing skills required in today's business world through its linkages with corporations and small businesses.

Members of the NBEA include individuals who work in and represent post-secondary universities, colleges, community colleges and secondary institutions.
