Find Your Voice: Presenting Ideas with Competence

As you take on more responsibilities at your workplace, your communication skills can help you succeed or can impede your advancement. In any profession or business role, you must be able to communicate in ways to gain support for your ideas, influence decision-making, and motivate others to action.

In this two-day program, you will learn the communication principles and techniques used by the world’s most successful speakers. A study of these principles will help you become more persuasive as you convey your ideas to clients, customers, and organizational members. Through experiential exercises and small group activities, you will put these principles into practice and learn to communicate with confidence, clarity, and conviction. You will return to the workplace with the skills to influence and motivate others.

The topics covered include:

Determining your purpose.

Adapting to various audiences and situations.

Structuring your message to achieve your business objectives.

Capturing and holding the attention of your listeners.

Learning delivery techniques involving impression management, body language, and vocal variety.

This program is appropriate for business professionals at all levels of experience who would like to be more effective at communicating with others.
