Dr. Warren J. Wilson, Black Hills State University chief information officer and executive director of the South Dakota Library Network (SDLN), has recently become a member of the program committee for EDUCAUSE 2009.

As a member of the program committee, Wilson will help plan upcoming conferences, including themes and topics, a call for proposals, evaluate received proposals, and build the final program for the Nov. 3–6, 2009, conference to be held in Denver. The first Educause 2009 program committee meeting will be held April 10–11 in Denver. Educause is a nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology.

Wilson, former director of the South Dakota Board of Regents’ Information Systems, is a member and past chairman of the South Dakota State Library Board and has been a member of the BHSU staff since 2007. He received his doctorate degree in education from the University of South Dakota, master’s degree from the University of Iowa, and bachelor’s degree from Monmouth College.
