Summer Stage at Black Hills State University concludes its eighth theatre season with Moon Over Buffalo a comedy by Ken Ludwig. Performance dates are June 26, 27, 28 at 7:30 p.m. and June 29 at 2:30 p.m.

Ludwig, who also wrote last summer’s hysterical season opener, The Fox and Fairway,  continues his hectic comic tradition with this play that follows George and Charlotte Hay, two fading actors that are on the brink of a disastrous split-up, until word is received that they might have one last shot at stardom. George and Charlotte have their work cut out for them when hilarious mishaps ensue, and they start to question which play they are actually performing.

Cast members for Moon Over Buffalo include: Kassi Blue, English major from Rapid City, playing Rosalind; Elysia Pederson, recent BHSU graduate, playing Ethel; Cole Stocking, outdoor education major from Box Elder, playing Howard; Steve Boring, BHSU alum, playing George; Melissa Barnard, speech communication major from Rapid City, playing Charlotte; Theo Schmidt, BHSU alum, playing Paul; Peter Amendolar, biology major from Red Wing, Minn., playing Richard; and Shonee Singer, theatre major from Dunlap, Ill., playing Eileen.
