Black Hills State University student organizations Buzz Marketing and Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) have combined efforts for a service project to collect food for the Spearfish Food Bank.
Canned and boxed food will be collected through May on the first floors of the David B. Miller Yellow Jacket Student Union, Jonas Hall, Clare and Josef Meier Hall and the E. Y. Berry Library and in Woodburn Hall in the second floor break room.
The organizations have designated each month with a different food type.
- Nov.—Candy and Snack Month
- Candy for kid’s Christmas
- Popcorn
- Hot chocolate mix
- Cake mix and frosting
- Feb.—Pasta Month
- March—Peanut Butter Month
- April—Pork and Bean Month
- May—Soup Month
