Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University men’s basketball team will host a scrimmage that is open to the public all day on Sunday, October 17 beginning at 9 a.m. MT in the Donald E. Young Center.

Black Hills State will play games against Sheridan at 10 a.m. and Casper at 1 p.m.  The Yellow Jackets final opponent of the day will be Central Wyoming at 3:30 p.m.  Both Dickinson State and S.D. School of Mines will also be in action against the three schools from Wyoming.

The complete schedule is as follows:
9 a.m. – S.D. School of Mines vs. Central Wyoming
10 a.m. – Black Hills State vs. Sheridan
11 a.m. – Dickinson State vs. Casper
12 noon – S.D. School of Mines vs. Sheridan
1 p.m. – Black Hills State vs. Casper
2 p.m. – Dickinson State vs. Central Wyoming
3 p.m. – S.D. School of Mines vs. Casper
3:30 p.m. – Black Hills State vs. Central Wyoming
4 p.m. – Dickinson State vs. Sheridan

The first two games for each team will consist of two 18 minute halves.  The final game of the day will be one 20 minute half.

Black Hills State will open the regular season on Friday, October 29 against Montana State-Northern as part of the Perkins Tip-Off Classic.  Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. MT.
