Darbi Yost has recently signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Black Hills State University beginning in the fall of 2010.  Darbi is currently a senior at Wheatland High School in Wheatland, Wyoming.

As a standout in volleyball, Darbi has lettered three years in a row, been All-Conference for two years, and this past fall was named All-State.  Yost not only received individual honors but she also helped guide her team to two State Championships in 2007 and 2009.  Darbi was also a four-year state competitor in track & field helping her 4x4 team win the State Championship in 2008 and was named team MVP in 2009.  Yost also excelled in basketball earning three letters.

“Darbi is a very athletic and well-rounded volleyball player.  She is quick, explosive, and strong in all skill areas.  She comes from a great high school volleyball program, and we are excited to have her joining us next fall.  We believe that she can have an immediate positive impact in our program,” said Head Coach Jhett Albers.
