Spearfish, S.D. – Tonight the Black Hills State University Men’s Basketball team picked-up a win in the first of two enormously important DAC conference games. The Yellow Jackets fought off the tough Minot State Beaver squad 93-90.
Luke Enos put on a clinic with his dominant offensive and defensive presence. Enos and the bucket became well acquainted after the big man dropped 34 points to go along with his three rebounds, three assists, and one block.
Will John Johnson also came up big for the Yellow Jackets with 10 points and an impressive 21 rebounds. Johnson had 10 offensive rebounds that allowed Black Hills State to stay in the hard fought game.
Head Coach Paul Sather said about the team’s performance, “It was a great team win. Our bench finished the first half strong, and you have to be very proud of our men with only nine turnovers against this team.”
Next up for the Yellow Jackets is the final DAC regular season game against Dickinson State University. This game is arguably the most important for the Yellow Jackets as it will be pivotal in the rankings for the DAC Conference Tournament.
