Douglas High School standout thrower, Chandlor Mikkonen, has signed a letter of intent with the Black Hills State University Track & Field program. First year Track & Field Coach Travis Covey says, “We are excited about Chandlor and his decision to throw for an already impressive throws squad. I know Coach Long, can’t wait to plug him into an incredible group of hard working guys. With the likes of Jason Boeding, Cole Nicholas, and Eric Flores and by adding Chandlor Mikkonen this will be a scary group of guys to throw against next year.” Chandlor’s best throws in the shot are 54’8” and in the Discus 156’-4”.
