The Yellow Jackets finished their remarkable season this past week advancing to the elite eight round of the NAIA National Tournament for the second straight year.  Sophomore Katelynn Lamb was named Honorable Mention All American for her efforts in the National Tournament and throughout the season.  Lamb averaged 14 points a game during the 2008-09 season and helped her team to a 26-7 record. 

Junior Brittany Fuhrman had a record breaking season as well breaking the all time three-pointers made record earlier in the season and she concluded her season going over the 1000 point mark in their final game against Morningside College.  Fuhrman averaged 12 points a game this season for the Yellow Jackets.

BHSU will return their entire squad for the 2009-10 season and has already added freshman Morgan Mines (Arvada-Clairmont High School, Wyoming), freshman Jordan Connolly (Rocky Mountain High School, Colorado), freshman Breanna Janovy (Sturgis-Brown High School, South Dakota).
