The Vermillion Literary Project seeks submissions for its annual literary magazine

Writers and artists, are invited to submit original, previously unpublished works for possible publication in the Vermillion Literary Project's annual literary magazine. Short stories, poetry, creative non-fiction (essays), and black-and-white artwork (drawings or photographs) are accepted with special preference given to works/contributors with a South Dakota connection.

There is no monetary payment, but contributors whose work is accepted will each receive a copy of the magazine in which their work appears.

E-mail submissions to projlit@usd.edu or mail them to The Vermillion Literary Project, c/o the English Department, Dakota Hall #226, University of South Dakota, 414 E. Clark Street, Vermillion, SD 57069-2390. All text submissions should be typed; prose should be double-spaced. Manuscripts and artwork are submitted at the author's or artist's own risk and will not be returned unless accompanied by a self-addressed, postage-paid return envelope. Deadline for submissions: December 31, 1999.

The Vermillion Literary Project is a non-profit literary organization at the University of South Dakota, consisting of USD student volunteers of all majors.
