Volleyball Goes 2-1 Over Weekend

The Yellow Jacket volleyball team defeated Minot State and Dana College over weekend and also lost one match to Dickinson State.
The Yellow Jackets knocked off Minot State in a five-game match Friday night in Spearfish. Black Hills State dominated in the first game 30-16, before being edged out in game two 31-29. The Yellow Jackets responded in game three, winning it 30-24. The Beavers took game four 30-24, however, the Yellow Jackets were too powerful in game five and won convincingly, 15-6.
On Saturday, Black Hills State faced Dickinson State in Spearfish. The Blue Hawks enter the match undefeated in conference. Black Hills State fell to Dickinson State in three straight games 30-20, 30-19 and 30-21.
Black Hills State traveled to Rapid City to face Dana College in a non-conference match on Sunday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets easily knockoff Dana in three games, 30-20, 30-21 and 30-13.
The Yellow Jackets are 10-5 overall and 4-3 in the Dakota Athletic Conference. Black Hills State will face South Dakota Tech on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in the Young Center.
