Women's Basketball Falls to St. Cloud State

Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University women’s basketball team lost 61-63 to Saint Cloud State at the Donald Young Center in Spearfish, S.D.  With the loss, the Yellow Jackets fall to 6-3 on the year.

“We executed down the stretch,” said head coach Mark Nore. “We had our chances and we can learn a lot from this game.”

The Yellow Jackets were led by senior Katelynn Lamb who finished the contest with 26 points, going 3-of-3 from behind the arc.  The Yellow Jackets shot 7-of-14 from three-point range and connected on 41% of their shots from the field.  Junior Kristi Ryan added 13 points for Black Hills State.

Black Hills State will play on Saturday, November 27 in Rapid City, S.D. when the team will take on Johnson and Wales.  Tip-off is slated for 1 p.m. MT and can be heard on 980 AM KDSJ in Spearfish.
