Women's Basketball Knocks Off Dakota State

Madison, S.D. – The Black Hills State University women’s basketball team defeated Dakota State Friday night in Madison, S.D. 85-75 extending their winning streak to nine games.
The Yellow Jackets were led in scoring by junior Katelynn Lamb with 19 points. Senior Alana Dykhouse, senior Jenna Bolstad and sophomore Keely Krolikowski all scored in double figures for Black Hills State.
“Our team really came out and played well tonight,” said Head Coach Mark Nore. “We defended with a lot of intensity for 40 minutes. It is always good to get a road win in the DAC.”
The Yellow Jackets remain in first place in the conference after improving their record to 20-5 overall and 9-2 in the DAC.
Black Hills State will return to action Saturday night when they will face Mayville State in Mayville, N.D. Tipoff is slated for 4 p.m. CT/3 p.m. MT and can be heard in Spearfish on KDSJ 980 AM.
