The Black Hills State University Yellow Jackets recently hosted a Coaches vs. Cancer night as a benefit for Ethan Dschaak and his family that raised more than $4,000. Dschaak, a BHSU alumnus and Sturgis head basketball coach, was diagnosed with cancer in early November.

A photograph by Steve Babbitt, professor of photography at Black Hills State University, was selected for the Endless Visions: The South Dakota Governor’s Fourth Biennial Art Exhibition currently on display at the Dahl Arts Center in Rapid City. Babbitt’s photograph entitled “Dead End” was chosen for this highly selective juried show.
