Plans are being developed at BHSU for a new graduate degree program that emphasizes leadership. BHSU this week asked the South Dakota Board of Regents for permission to plan for a new master’s degree in strategic leadership.

Black Hills State University notified a group of students today that their social security numbers had been temporarily available through a public web page. As soon as university officials were aware that the document was on the website, the document was removed. The information is no longer available.

The BHSU Reading Council received numerous accolades at the recent South Dakota Reading Council Conference. For the ninth year, the group received the South Dakota Reading Council’s Golden Seal Award. In addition, several of the council members had the opportunity to present at the conference, two BHSU students received scholarships and three BHSU Reading Council members were elected as officers and committee chairpersons.
