Two Black Hills State University students are showcasing global photography in an exhibit on campus this spring. Amanda Allred, recent BHSU graduate from Spearfish, and Aric Bakeberg, photography major from Rapid City, announce their photography exhibit “Into Their World.” This exhibit consists of imagery made during summer internships in two very different parts of our world: coastal China and Swaziland, Africa.

In celebration of Valentine’s Day, senior honors student Cara Bandalos, English major from Guernsey, Wyo., and Dr. Margee Husemann, assistant professor of humanities at Black Hills State University, will direct a reading of poems of love, romance, and seduction. The 12th Annual Black Hills Research Symposium to showcase Black Hills State University undergraduate research will be held in the Clare and Josef Meier Hall on the BHSU campus from March 16-18. The symposium includes student research presentations as well as a keynote address by Dr. David H. Autor from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Department of Economics.
