Black Hills State University Chamber Singers will present a holiday favorite, the annual Madrigal Dinner, Dec. 16, 17, 18, and 19 in Clare and Josef Meier Hall on the BHSU campus.
Audiences will be treated to a full evening of food, music, and theatrical entertainment during the annual fund-raising event for the BHSU music department.

The Black Hills State University 10% Society will host It Gets Better Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. in Club Buzz of the David B. Miller Yellow Jacket Student Union on the BHSU campus. The event is an educational presentation on suicide prevention and lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) bullying and discrimination.

Black Hills State University is sponsoring the 10th Annual Red Shirt Cultural Holiday Exchange, which includes a collection of toys and funds along with at visit by BHSU students to the Red Shirt School. The event, which began as two-student project in 2000, has grown into a campus-wide event with participation numerous organizations.

The Dakota Chamber Orchestra is a chamber orchestra consisting of BHSU students and string players from the community and surrounding areas.

Dr. David Siemens, associate professor of biology, will be speaking on “House Hunting Botany Style: What limits the evolution of local range in plants.”
