The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO), the women’s business center at Black Hills State University, will host the monthly Women in Networking (WIN) lunch at the Spearfish Holiday Inn Swarm Room Tuesday, April 9 from noon to 1 p.m.
The SD Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO), located on the campus of Black Hills State University, is hosting a seminar, “Introduction to Federal Contracting,” at the University Center-Rapid City, Tuesday, March 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (M.S.T.) in room 127. The seminar will also be available via the Dakota Digital Network (DDN) at Northern State University, South Dakota State University, University of South Dakota and the University Center- Sioux Falls.
After a year’s work, military students will soon have a place for increased support services with the opening of the Veterans Resource Center. A ribbon cutting will be held Friday, March 15 at 1 p.m. in the University Center-Rapid City (UC-RC) atrium.
Around 70 Black Hills State University students, staff, faculty and community members attended Erlich’s talk last night. BHSU was a stop on Erlich’s national speaking tour looking his perspective of the war in Iraq.
The presentation titled “Who Won the Iraq War?” is at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 in the David B. Miller Yellow Jacket Student Union Jacket Legacy room. The talk is free and open to the public. Erlich will also speak about his recent experiences covering the Arab Spring in Syria, Egypt, Libya and nearby countries.
