Black Hills State University will offer students in the Black Hills opportunities to expand their knowledge and engage in learning over the summer through several academic camps.
Almost 40 years after it first hit the stage, “The Phantom of The Matthews Opera House” will once again be a summer draw for Black Hills community members and visitors this July, thanks to a collaborative effort between The Matthews and Black Hills State University.

The group planted trees and helped with the pruning of trees on campus April 24. The event was held during Outdoor Week at BHSU. The Arbor Day celebration was coordinated through BHSU’s new tree planting committee, whose goal is to increase the number and diversity of trees on campus.
